I finally used up all of our laundry detergent, allowing me to experiment with making my own. I decided to try Soule Mama’s peppermint laundry powder recipe. I am in love with Dr. Bronner’s Castile Peppermint Soap, it smells amazing. So far, the laundry powder has worked wonderfully for us. I bought the ingredients in bulk from Amazon, so we should be able to make this laundry soap for a long time to come!

2 cups (finely) grated castile soap

1 cup borax

1 cup baking soda

1 cup washing soda

Use 1/8 cup+ per load and remember to shake jar often to keep the soap flakes mixed in.
